Accessing AgStar Help

  1. For within Agstar, click on help, or press F1
  2. Click on AgStar Help
  3. The Help system will open in your default browser (internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, etc.). Note: You do not need to be connected to the internet in order to use AgStar Help — it just uses the browser program to display the Help pages.

There are a few differences in using Help, depending on your browser:

Edge: AgStar Help does not work with the Edge browser. If you need assistance,

Internet Explorer: Depending on your version of internet Explorer and security setting you may see something like the following message each time you open AgStar Help.

You must click on “Allow blocked content” in order for AgStar Help to work properly.

Troubleshooting

If you click on AgStar Help and get an error message like "No application associated with this file" or "The operating system denied access to the specified file", you will need to make a change in your computer setting. Need assistance? Contact Us »

Moving Around AgStar Help

The easiest way to move around in the Help system is using the Contents list.

Because AgStar Help display in your browser, you can continue to work in AgStar while Help is open

Searching by Key Word(s)

  1. Type the world in the Search box (top right).
  2. Press Enter, or click on the search icon.
  3. The search Results pane will display. listing all Help pages that contain the word.
  4. Click on topic you want.
  5. The Detail will display on the right.
  6. To close the Search Results pane and return to the Contents List, Click the X in the upper right corner of the Search Results pane.
